Hidden Wonders of the Depth 2 is the second edition of the Hidden Wonders series, the game presented by ERS Game Studios. The game is set in an underwater environment, and follows the adventures of a small crab that is eager to explore the marine world to collect treasures. It is basically a match-3 puzzle where you need to swap and connect at least three identical tiles to make them disappear from the grid.
The main goal in each level is to make our little crab reach the treasure chest by clearing its path from obstacles, that is, tiles with seahorses, pearls, fish, and other sea creatures. To complicate things a bit, as you advance new characters and friends will appear to accompany our crab in the adventure, as well as extra challenges to overcome, not to mention that the path our friend needs to go through becomes more intricate. Besides, as things get more complicated, diverse power-ups will show up to help you solve the puzzles faster. There is also a couple of bonus levels featuring clever mini games.
Although the game lacks a compelling storyline, and the game mechanism does not offer much originality, this is a puzzle that kids will enjoy a lot, specially because it is visually very lively.
